Mia Carrillo is a 24 year old emerging writer and editor from Los Angeles, CA. She has a BA in English and Creative Writing from Reed College. Currently, she is a freelance writer and editor for various indie magazines while editing a memoir for an unpublished Portland author. Her work explores what it means to be a “self” through relationships, memory, race, gender, and sexuality.
